Marie A. Thompson

 

Marie A. Thompson, 89, of Monessen, died Monday, February 15, 2010 in The Victoria House, Monessen.  Born in Rostraver Township on June 29, 1920, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Hubert) Gatt.

 

Marie was a retired secretary from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh and was a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord R.C. Church in Monessen.

 

Survivors include 2 special cousins, Joan Lindey and Mary Catherine (Don) Panepinto, of Rostraver Township; and cousins, Dan (Kelly) Frich of Chadds Ford, PA, Dana (Jack) French and Don (Stephanie) Panepinto, Jr. of Rostraver Township and Joe (Michele) Panepinto of Perryopolis.

 

In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Thompson in 1969.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the Church Of St. Anne, Rostraver Township with the Rev. Ronald L. Simboli presiding.  Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.
