Norma Jean Aitken, 78, of Fellsburg/Rostraver Township died Friday, July 15, 2011 in Jefferson Regional Medical Center.  Born in Fellsburg on July 29, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Robert G. and Edna B. (Lehew) Aitken.

‘Jean’, as she was affectionately known to all, worked for many, many years at both Sweeney's Restaurant and Hogan's Snack Shop in Rostraver Twp.  She was a member of Fells United Methodist Church in Rostraver and was a member of TOPS for a number of years.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Shirley Aitken and brother-in-law, James Swickey, both of Florida; cousin; LaVerne Lehew of Belle Vernon; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Wilma Ruth Sandy and Bertha Mae 'Tootles' Swickey; and a brother, Ralph Clifton Aitken.

Friends will be received in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com  on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. , at which time a Memorial service will be held with the Rev. Scott Berkley officiating.   Interment will be in Fells Cemetery, Rostraver Township.
