Delbert
A. Kolodziej, Jr., 59, of
Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township, died Monday, August 15, 2011in his
home. Born in Greensburg on September 12, 1951, he was the son of
the late Delbert A. Sr. and Carol F. (Smith) Kolodziej.
Methodist by
faith, Delbert was a plumber-pipefitter and was a member of the
Pipefitters Union Local 354. Delbert was known for his kindness and
generosity; his death was due to cancer. He served in the U.S. Army
in the 32nd Airborne Division.
He is survived
by his son, Paul McGinty of Monongahela; 2 daughters, Shawna
Kolodziej of Philadelphia and Camille Kolodziej of Belle Vernon; 2
grandchildren, Kasia McNamara of Philadelphia and Gavin McGinty of
Monongahela; brother, Mark (Lilia) Kolodziej of Vallejo, California;
2 sisters, Janie (Tom) Amati of Rostraver Township and Joni (Dr.
John) Charletta of Pittsburgh; and several nieces & nephews.
There will be
no public visitation and interment will be held at the convenience
of the family.
