Margaret Ann
“Peggy” Hillebrecht, 71,
of Rostraver Township died Wednesday, September 14, 2011 in
Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born in McKeesport on November
10, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Paul V. and Margaret
(Todd) Ferrier.
Peggy was a
retired school teacher from the West Jefferson Hills School
District. She was a member of Fells United Methodist Church in
Rostraver Twp. She volunteered with the United Methodist Woman’s
Evening Circle. She helped with the churches Election Day Food and
Bake Sales, as well as serving funeral meals. She was an avid
quilter, and started a quilt group that meets at the church. She
continued her love of quilting in Florida, where she spent her
winters. Peggy was a very thoughtful person and was generous to all
she knew. She easily made friends with everyone she met. She enjoyed
riding bikes on the Youghiogheny Trail, and also in Florida. She
helped her husband, Bill, entertain children with The Rainbow
Express train. Peggy will be sadly missed by all whom she loved and
all who loved her.
She is survived
by her very special brother, Lewis “Chip” Ferrier of Rostraver
Township: cousin Ray Gonzales of Virginia and his daughters, Kim and
Kelly; cousin, Richard (Rose) Gonzales of Florida and their
children, Gina, Ramona, John and Tony step daughter, Kathy (Chuck) Dodd; step grandchildren, Kaley
& Laurel Cubbon; sisters-in law, Nancy (James) Carraway, Sandy
(Louis) Caley, Linda (John) Wallace, Sally (Robert) Jacobsen, Judy
(Don) Kargle, Peg (Bob) Wahl and Lucy (David) Husser;
brother-in-law, Daniel (Anita) Hillebrecht; and numerous nieces,
nephews and friends.
In addition to
her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband,
William E. Hillebrecht on August 10, 2009 and her brother and
sister-in–law, Jay and Rainy Ferrier.
Friends will be
received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. in the James C. Stump
Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township
