Doris Ruth Breckenridge, 80, of Belle Vernon (Rostraver Township), died Wednesday, October 28, 2009 in Jefferson Senior Care, Perryopolis.  Born in Charleroi on December 26, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Jean Elizabeth (Irwin) Zundel.

A homemaker, Ruth was a member of Rehoboth Presbyterian Church, Rostraver Township.

She is survived by her 2 sons, Ronald B. (Kim) Breckenridge of Perryopolis and Charles Scott (Tammy) Breckenridge of Norwich, VT; daughter, Joyce A. Breckenridge of Belle Vernon; 6 grandchildren, Robert, Jeremy, Sara, Johnathon, David & Malia Breckenridge; and brother, Earl (Carol) Zundel of Rostraver Township.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles O. Breckenridge on November 11, 2007; and 2 sisters, Edna Hodgson and Jean Murphy.

A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
