Charles R. Deiley, 74, of Belle Vernon (Rostraver Township), passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, October 6, 2009.  He was born on October 1, 1935, the son of the late Howard Ross Deiley and Elizabeth (Brown) Deiley.

Charles was a 1953 graduate of Clairton High School and then served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force.  After his service, he graduated from California University of Pennsylvania and taught high school History and Geography at Clairton High School for 35 years.  He was an avid golfer who truly enjoyed his retirement years.

He is survived by his wife, Rosella and his four children to his first wife, Suzanne that he was preceded in death by on December 29, 1991.  His children, Timothy, Lisa, Chetley and his wife Mary Sue and Dennis are joined in their loss by his brother, Norman and his family along with his stepchildren and 4 grandchildren, Albany, Madison, Mackensie and Morgan.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C.
