Helen Hepner, 87, of West Newton, died Wednesday, October 14, 2009 in Westmoreland Regional Hospital.  Born in Webster on April 17, 1922, she was the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Yencek) Kalko.

A homemaker, Helen was a member of the Church of St. Anne in Rostraver Township.

She is survived by her brother, Joseph Kalko of Lowber; sister, Martha McNeil of Elizabeth; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Hepner on November 18, 2005; and by several brothers and sisters.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 am in the Church of St. Anne, Rostraver Township with her Pastor, the Rev. Ronald L. Simboli, presiding.  Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.
