Edward Paul Karlowsky, 83, of Rostraver Township, died Friday, November 25, 2011 in his home.  Born in Monessen on May 8, 1928, he was the son of the late Charles and Alice (Leonard) Karlowsky.

 

Paul was retired from Corning Glass Works in Charleroi.  He was a veteran in the U.S. Marine Corps and served in China.

 

He is survived by his wife, Jean (Sanko) Karlowsky; son, Mark E. Karlowsky of Rostraver; 2 daughters, Marsha Karlowsky of Rostraver and Shelley (Joseph) Stimak of Charleroi; 4 grandchildren, Melissa, Alexis, Michael and Stephanie; 4 great grandchildren, John, Van, Ryleigh, and Lee (Boo Boo); brother, Robert Karlosky of Salem, New Hampshire.

 

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Charles and Albert Karlowsky; and a sister, Betty Rock.
