Raymond J.
Fortier, 30, of Belle Vernon/Rostraver
Twp., died Friday, December 25, 2009 in Westmoreland Regional Hospital,
Greensburg. Born in Pittsburgh on December 29, 1978, he is the son of
Ronald L. and Patricia (Arent) Fortier, who survive and reside in
Rostraver Twp.
Raymond was a
member of Concord United Methodist Church in Rostraver Township. He
resided in a Group Home of the Passavant Memorial Homes in Jeannette,
where he lived a very active life, surrounded by a very loving staff.
He was a wish recipient from the Make-A-Wish foundation and was active
in the Challenger Baseball league.
In addition to his
parents, he is survived by his sister & brother-in-law, Rebecca & Andrew
Heffner of Crafton; a niece, Elana Heffner and 2 nephews, Isaac & Aaron
Heffner.
Friends will be
received on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8
p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Belle

Family and
friends are asked to meet
at Concord United Methodist Church, 100 Municipal Drive,
Belle Vernon on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. where a Funeral service will
be held with the Rev. David K. Means and the Rev. James Myers co-
officiating. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers,
the family suggests memorial contributions, in Raymond's name, to
either: The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Western PA, 707 Grant St,
Pittsburgh, PA 15219 or Passavant Memorial Homes, 100 Passavant Way,
Pittsburgh, PA 15238.
