Winona Buck Grilli,
of Webster, died Sunday, August 3, 2008 in Mon Valley
Hospital. She was the daughter of the late John Buck, Sr. and Viola
(Butler) Buck.
Mrs. Grilli was the Salutatorian of the
Rostraver High School Class of 1947. Upon graduation she joined her
family's business, Buck's Garage Chrysler-Plymouth Agency, as Office
Manager. In May, 1968, she was honored as the outstanding Automotive
Accountant for the Pittsburgh zone of Chrysler Motors Corporation and
was accepted as a lifetime member of the Honor Society of Accountants
for Chrysler Corporation in recognition of her superior accounting
achievements. She also worked as the Office Manager for B. Bogdewic
Chrysler Plymouth Auto Agency before retiring in 1992. Mrs. Grilli was
an active member of the Webster United Methodist Church, serving as a
former chairperson of the Finance committee, pianist for the Worship
Service, the Adult Sunday School group, and the Youth Department. She
was a member of the Administrative Council and past president of The
Faithful Followers Sunday School Class and was a member of the Rostraver
Township AARP.
She is survived by her husband of 57
years: John V. Grilli; brother & sister-in-law: William & Jean Buck of
Fellsburg; sister: Alberta Alonso of Webster; 2 sisters-in-law; Mildred
Buck of Donora and Dolores Grilli of New Eagle; the following nieces and
nephews: Nancy & Sam Zabawsky of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Dennis &
Linda Buck of Donora, Bruce & Deborah Buck of Rostraver Township, Tammy
Alonso of Webster, Christopher & Margaret Grilli of Bethel Park, Cynthia
& Tom Greaves of Herndon, Virginia; and the following great nieces and
great nephews: Kristan Spencer of Jefferson Hills, Kevin Buck of
Donora and Daniel Greaves & Ellie Greaves of Herndon, Virginia.
In addition to her parents, she was
preceded in death by a brother, John Buck, Jr. and a great nephew, Jason
Brett Buck.
Friends will be received on Monday from 7
to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the James C. Stump

Family and friends are asked to meet on
Wednesday, August 6 at 11:00 am for a funeral service in the Webster United Methodist Church with the Rev. James Myers and the Rev. Bruce Northey co-officiating.
Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
