Ann Kermes
Parilak, 83, of Rostraver
Township, died Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at the home of her son, Joseph, in
Colfax, West Virginia. Born in Redstone Twp. on July 1, 1925, she was
the daughter of the late Steve and Patricia (Zbyvatel) Kermes.
Ann was a
telephone operator for Bell Telephone Company and later worked at the
Bettis Plant of Westinghouse. She was a member of the Church of St.
Anne in Rostraver Township and its Confraternity of Christian Mothers.
She is survived by
her 3 sons & a daughter-in-law: James Michael Parilak of Norfolk,
Virginia, Joseph Edward & Lisa Parilak of Colfax, West Virginia and Dr.
Leonard David Parilak of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter: Laura Bagdadi &
husband Ariel of Scottsdale, Arizona; 3 grandchildren: Abreonna &
Adalynn Parilak and Lucas Bagdadi; and 2 sisters: Agnes Nicholas of
Pittsburgh and Margie Kushak of Uniontown.
In addition to her
parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Regis Parilak
in 1997; and 7 brothers and 2 sisters.
Friends will be
received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday until 9:30
a.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Belle

A Funeral Mass
will be celebrated on Saturday, July 12 at 10:00 am in the Church of St.
Anne with her Pastor, the Rev. Ronald L. Simboli, presiding. Interment
will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery, Rostraver Township.
