Edgar C. Moran, 81, of Donora/Carroll Township, died Friday, June 20, 2008 in Havencrest Nursing Center.  Born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 1, 1927, he was the son of the late Duke and Anna (Rankin) Moran.

 

A meat cutter, Edgar retired from Giant Eagle after 17 years of service.  He served in the U. S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.

 

He is survived by his wife, Elda Marie (Curry) Moran; son & daughter-in-law, Richard & Tracy Swihart of Linesville, PA; 3 grandchildren, Melinda, Ian & Dennis Swihart; and a great grandson, Cayden Garrett.

 

Friends will be received on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C.
