Ruth W. Yoder

Ruth W. Yoder, 83, of Rostraver Township, died peacefully at home after a lengthy illness onTuesday, June 10, 2008.  Born in Rostraver Township on September 1, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Pauline (Giddings) Hamilton.

A homemaker, Ruth was a member of Concord United Methodist Church in Rostraver Township.

She is survived by her 4 children: Thomas, Teresa, Linda & husband Leonard, and Marlene & husband Jim; 10 grandchildren:  Wendy, Kelly, Jill, Haley, Emily, Mark, Greg, Jane, Andrea and David; 8 great grandchildren; 2 sisters:  JoAnn and Annetta.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas O. Yoder.

Friends will be received on Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com  where a Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Michael Long officiating.  Interment will follow in the Olive Branch Cemetery, Rostraver Township.
