George
J. Nalepa, 85, of
Webster, died Tuesday, October 21, 2008 in Jefferson Hills Manor,
Jefferson Hills. He was born in Arnold City on March 26, 1923.
George was
retired from Wheeling/Pittsburgh Steel Corporation in Monessen. He
also operated Nalepa's Grocery Store in Webster. He was a founding
member of the former Holy Cross Church in Webster and was very
active in the church with his wife, Margaret and his son, Barry. He
was currently a member of the Church of St. Anne in Rostraver
Township. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
He is survived
by his sister, Victoria Yelletz in Michigan and numerous nephews &
nieces.
He was
preceded in death by his wife, Margaret G. Nalepa in 1999 and his
son, Barry K. Nalepa in 2006.
Friends will
be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday until
9:30 a.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive,

A Funeral Mass
will be celebrated on Friday, October 24 at 10:00 am in the Church
Of St. Anne, with his Pastor, the Rev. Ronald L. Simboli presiding.
Interment, with Military honors, will follow in St. Dominic
Cemetery, Donora.
