Alice L. Gwynn, 82, of Belle Vernon, died Thursday, March 29, 2018 in Westmoreland Manor. Born in West Pike Run Township on April 30, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Charles B. and Myrtle (Sinnamond) Hill Sr.
Over the years Alice was employed by Quattrone Accountants, Melenyzer's Furniture, ITS Telemarketing and Keystone Bakery. She was very dedicated to her family and loved baking and preparing food for all to enjoy. Her home was open to everyone. Hobbies included sewing, gardening, playing cards and bingo. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends.
She is survived by her sons, James L. Gwynn Jr. of Belle Vernon and Kenneth L. (Corlis) Gwynn of CA; daughter, Loreli (Curtis) Byron of Rostraver Twp.; grandchildren, James L. Gwynn III, Curtis Gwynn, Nicole Byron and Erik (Amber Kolodziej) Byron; great grandsons, Jayden, Cole and Liam Byron; brother, Charles B. (Beverly) Hill Jr. of Ebony, VA; and sister, Charlene (Robert) Haines of Lewistown.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Gwynn Sr.; and her brother, Robert Hill.
