Leonard Edward Hofmann, 68, of Rostraver Township, died Tuesday, July 3, 2018. Born in North Charleroi on August 9, 1949, he was the son of the late John Westley and Kathryn L. (Turkovich) Hofmann.
Leonard was an electrician for Westinghouse; then worked Maintenance and retired from Mon Valley Hospital. He was a family man and loved cooking, baking apple pies and doing household chores. He enjoyed the Holidays and preparing all the specialty foods for family gatherings. He was great at working with his hands and was always fixing things. He was an animal lover, an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed camping and the outdoors. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Elaine Hofmann; sons Mark W. (Amber) Hofmann of Rostraver and Gregory E. (Sheila) Hofmann of Telford, PA; grandchildren, Emma Hall, Ryker Hofmann and Noreen Hofmann; brother, Donald (Donna) Hofmann of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Brenda Bittner of West Newton; and his special doggie friend, Sam E.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C.
