Louis Edward Rendulic, born October 25, 1955 in McKeesport, PA passed away on March 11, 2018. He is the son of Frances Vodopivec Rendulic who survives and resides in Rostraver Twp. and the late Frank A. Rendulic.
Louis graduated from Belle Vernon Area High School in 1973 and 2 weeks later left to serve in the U.S. Navy for 12 years. He then attended Thomas Nelson Community College while working at Newport News Shipbuilding as a Nuclear Test Engineer for 33 years. He was also a Radiological Emergency Responder. Lou will be remembered for his love of cars, motorcycles, reading, and technology but mostly for his constant generosity and his caring heart.
In addition to his mother, Louis is survived by brothers, Frank A. (Maxine Carson) Rendulic, Jr. and Paul A. Rendulic; sisters, Emma (Tom) Hopeck, Frances Jane Rendulic and Lisa (Jeff) Kingsbury; nieces, Janice Rendulic, Dr. Paula Hopeck (Dr. RJ Green), Hillary (Dion) Sims, Maria Hopeck (Rob Tracey), and Faith Hopeck; nephews, Frank Rendulic, Thomas (Angela) Hopeck, and Daniel J. Rendulic; and great niece, Gianna Hopeck.
Louis will be remembered fondly by special friends in Virginia, Susan Desmarais, Olivia (Cole) Reichenbaker, David Desmarais, Marion Leudesdorff, Jeanette Leudesdorff, Jeff Scarboro and many others in the area.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Anne, Rostraver Twp, with Rev. Vincent J. Gigliotti presiding.
