Robert Earl McBeth, 66, of Rostraver Township, died suddenly onThursday, April 26, 2018 in Mon Valley Hospital. Born in Pittsburgh on October 2, 1951, he was the son of Mary Lee (Budd) McBeth who survives and resides in Rostraver and the late Earl S. McBeth.
Robert was a steelworker and retired from Allegheny Ludlum in Latrobe. He was a member of Concord United Methodist Church and loved being with his grandchildren and his "special buddy”. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time at the family camp in Potter County. He was a member of the National Wildlife Turkey Foundation and a lifetime member of the NRA.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Diane L. (Green) McBeth; sons, Greg R. McBeth of Rostraver and Blaine M. McBeth of Charleroi; daughter, Dana D. Marmie of Rostraver; grandchildren, Devon Marmie and Bailey Marmie; his “special buddy”, Cameron Gereshenski; brothers, Sam (Darcy) McBeth of WI and Jim (Vicki) McBeth of Rostraver; sisters, Mary Esther (Ron) Antal of Rostraver and Renee (Jeff) Bell of New Eagle; numerous nieces,nephews, great nieces & great nephews.
Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Derek Platt officiating. Interment will follow in Fells Cemetery.
