Clayton Leroy Frye, 60, of New Salem died Monday, September 12, 2022.  Born in Portsmouth, VA on April 29, 1962, he was the son of the late John L. and Leslie K.(Beck) Frye Sr.

 

Clayton graduated from Camp Lejeune High School. After high school, he joined the US Airforce and was honorably discharged after 10 years of service. He then attended the College of Albemarle where he received an AS Degree in Computer Programming. He enjoyed motorcycles, computers, airplanes and was proud of his Private Pilot’s License.

 

He is survived by his siblings, Dennis Michael Frye of Ruffs Dale, John L. Frye Jr. of New Salem, Dianne Caudill of Charleroi, Vernon Dale Campbell of Rostraver Township, Roy Paul Frye of Donora, Christopher Allen Frye of Lexington, KY, Suzanne Marie Frye of New Salem and Darlene Olivio of Monessen; as well as many nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sonya Bergman.

 

An Interment Service, with Military Honors, will be held in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville at a later date.
