Daniel Louis Steban Jr.

Daniel Louis "Bud" Steban Jr., 50, of Van Meter, died at home on Sunday, March 18, 2018. Born in Camp Lejeune, NC on June 20, 1967, he was the son of Daniel L. and Karen (Sirko) Steban Sr., who survive and reside in Van Meter.
Bud worked for the Clairton Works of U S Steel. Prior to that, he was a police officer for Rostraver and North Belle Vernon. He played football in high school and loved playing hockey. He was especially fond of his dogs, Molly, Piper and Duke.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Mary Beth (Hartman) Steban; sisters, Sheila (Don) Jobes of Canton, OH, Leslie Steban of Rostraver and Jessica Steban of Smithton; nieces, Brittny (Mike) Spangler, Lindsey Jobes and Bailey Steban; nephews, Brandon Johnston and Drew Jobes; and great nieces, Emma, Sophia and Bella.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Blessing Service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Francisco R. Gan Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery.
