Mitzie Thompson

Mitzie Ann Thompson, 80, of Rostraver Twp., died at her home on Sunday, October 2, 2016. Born in Elizabeth on January 2, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Gingie Paccini Joll.
A homemaker, Mitzie was a member of the First Christian Church in Monessen. She loved playing softball, watching soap operas, and having cookouts.
She is survived by her three sons, Mark F. Thompson, Glenn J. Thompson, and Robert M. Thompson Jr. all of Rostraver Twp.; thirteen grandchildren, Theresa Semancik, Julie Sabo, Elizabeth Hide, Edward Snyder Jr., Danny Snyder, Timmy Snyder, Paul Snyder, Joshua Thompson, Amanda Thompson, Jonathan Thompson, David Thompson, J. R. Lutz and Crystal Lutz; eight great grandchildren, Jenna Semancik, Michael Semancik Jr., Robert Sabo, Joey Sabo, Jonathon Sabo, Katrina Thompson, Jonathan Thompson Jr. and Kaidence Thompson; several great-great grandchildren; three sisters and three brothers.
In addition to her parents, Mitzie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. "Spider" Thompson on October 4, 2008 and a daughter, Charlotte Ann Snyder.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Conrad Auel officiating. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park.
