Alan R. Savko

Alan R. Savko, 61, of West Newton, died Tuesday, May 26, 2026. Born in Connellsville on May 5, 1965, he was the son of the late Michael and Helen (Kubina) Savko. 

Being born with cerebral palsy limited his physical abilities! Alan's love of cars and his ability to work on them in his younger days always amazed people. He still worked and was active with Art and the love of cars.

Alan was loved by many and will be greatly missed. He had a pleasant disposition and warmed many hearts of his relatives and friends. He also had great mapping skills and was willing to help those who needed guidance. 

He is survived by his niece, Marylin G. Britt; nephew, Ronald (Amy) Britt ; great-nephew, Cole Alan Britt; and great-great niece, Salem Warren Britt .

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Helen Britt; brothers, Michael Savko and John Savko; and a great nephew, Trevor Johnathan Britt.
