Anna Marie Bedner

Anna Marie Bedner, 95, of Donora, died Thursday, June 12, 2025. Born in Donora on May 23, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ann (Karch) Rudinec.

Anna Marie was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church - Donora Site and was also in the Rosary Society. She was the Society Editor of the former Herald American newspaper in Donora and was a member of the Slovak Catholic Sokol. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and dearly loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, John (Kim) Bedner of Charleroi, Dr. Joann (Scott) Strain of Castle Shannon and Dr. Eugene (Tina) Bedner of Eighty Four; grandchildren, Scott (Christina) Strain of Partlow, VA, Michael (Amanda) Bedner of Washington, PA, Alexandra Bedner of Alexandria, VA and Gabrielle Bedner of Hollywood, FL; great grandchildren, Aria Strain, Adelynn Bedner and Owen Bedner; brother, Joseph Rudinec of Youngstown, OH.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, John M. Bedner in 2021; and sister, Margaret Hudak.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Blessing Service will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Andrew The Apostle Parish - Donora Site with Rev. Levi Hartle presiding. Interment will follow in St. Dominic Cemetery, Donora, PA.
