Annita "Louise" Weaver

Annita ''Louise'' Weaver, 90, of Rostraver Township, died Thursday, April 4, 2024.  Born in Pembroke, NC on August 4, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Javan and Jessie Bell (Locklear) Dimery.

Annita Weaver, known by family and friends as "Louise", was a giver of joy to all she encountered through her uplifting communication and devout Christian education and understanding of scripture.  Beyond this magnificent impression she made to those she encountered, she was a strong and accomplished salesperson leading the soft water industry. In terms of top chef…She could out-cook and outbake the best of the best.  She could virtually live off the land and would present platters for food and "slabs" of pies made with fresh ingredients taken from her garden, orchard or chickens she raised.  She will be missed but leaves us with warm and fond memories of a woman full of life!  Louise was a member of Salem Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Roy Lee Weaver; children, Marlena Macias of CA, David Weaver of AZ and Leroy Weaver of VA; brother, Richard (Cathy) Dimery of NC.; 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews who lovingly called her “Aunt Lou”.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Joyce Locklear, Maitland Cummings, Odgen Dimery, Ellen Carol Oxendine, Carlton Dimery and Charles Dimery.

Private Services and interment was held at Salem Cemetery, Rostraver Township.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934)
