Betty Staffieri

Betty L. Staffieri, 88, of Rostraver Township, died Friday, August 7, 2015 in Nevaeh Cove in Charleroi. Born in Rostraver Township on April 18, 1927, she was the daughter of the late James T. and Bessie (Lynn) Eckard.
A homemaker, Betty was Protestant by faith.
She is survived by her son, Nick (Belinda) Staffieri; daughter, Maria (Charles) Metz, all of Rostraver Township; three grandchildren, Jamie, Nicholas and Amy; two great-grandchildren, Ethan & Nicianna.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent "Jim" Staffieri on June 9, 1995; brothers, Harold Lynn and James Eckard; sister, Wanda McGee.
Friends will be received 12 to 3 p.m. Saturday in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com at which time a Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Kent Lighthall officiating. Interment will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery.
