Calvin H. Dils

Calvin H. Dils, 70, of Rostraver Township, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 after a long illness. He was born on December 7, 1947 in North Charleroi, the son of the late Victor H. and Laura (Morrison) Dils.
Calvin was a Vietnam War Veteran, serving our country in the US Army from 1967 through 1970. He belonged to several Veterans affiliations, including current or former membership in the Disabled Veterans of the Mon Valley, the American Legion Belle Vernon Post #659, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Belle Vernon Post. He was also a member of the Belle Vernon Moose. Calvin loved spending time at his “camp” in Manns Choice, Bedford County, with his many friends.
He is survived by his son, Jeffery H. Dils of North Charleroi; his special angel and companion, Mary Ann Tonini of Rostraver Township; sisters, Vicki Dils Dadisman (Tom Harbert) of Greensburg, Sharon L. Dils Biles of Charleroi and Jacqueline Dils Vercamen (Reid) of Oviedo, Florida. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, great nephews and numerous cousins.
Per his request, there will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
