Cathy A. Stangroom

Cathy A. Stangroom, 62, of Rostraver Township, died Sunday, December 16, 2018 in UPMC McKeesport Hospital. Born in Charleroi on January 6, 1956, she was the daughter of Sarah J. (Pearce) Stangroom, who survives and resides in Rostraver and the late Clyde W. Stangroom.
Cathy was a Nurse's Aide for Kenric Manor in Donora. She enjoyed crocheting and she loved the Pittsburgh Steelers.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her brothers, Clyde Stangroom and Clayton Stangroom; sisters, Cheryl Stangroom and Cynthia Cunningham; several aunts and uncles; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carla Stangroom.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 9 a.m. with Rev. Allen Ray Simonson officiating. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park.
