Charles R. Milkent

Charles R. Milkent, 79, of Rostraver Township, died Wednesday, May 17, 2017 in The Donnell House after a brief illness. Born in Charleroi on September 22, 1937, he was the son of the late George A. Milkent and Stella (Savitsky) and George Bartoshek.
Charles was a 1955 graduate of Centerville High School and served in the U.S. Army. He was retired from Westinghouse Electric Corp. in East Pittsburgh, as a Tool and Die Supervisor, having worked for 32 years. He was a member of the Church of St. Anne, F.O.E, American Legion, Naomi Club and East Belle Vernon Athletic Association. He enjoyed spending his winters in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Florida.
He is survived by his wife, Karen (Tilton) Milkent; son, George (Heather) Milkent of Carroll Township; daughter; Heather (J.B.) Ali of Venetia; granddaughter, Megan; and mother-in-law, Elizabeth Eloshway Tilton of Richeyville.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Blessing Service will be held on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Anne, Rostraver Township, with Rev. Vincent J. Gigliotti as celebrant. Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.
