Daniel George Mccartan

Daniel George McCartan, 88, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Rostraver Township, died Tuesday, April 21, 2020 in Southwestern Care Center. Born in Pittsburgh on December 11, 1931, he was the son of the late Arthur and Mary (Kinney) McCartan.
Dan was a member of the Church of St. Anne, where he served as usher. He was an avid golfer and loved cars. He served his country in the U S Coast Guard in the Korean War.
He is survived by his sons, Arthur McCartan, Daniel McCartan and Sean (Jan) McCartan; grandchildren, Danielle, Rachel, Bethany, Molly and Kaitlyn; and also great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine Loretta (Gordon) McCartan; and an infant daughter, Colleen.
Private visitation and Funeral Services will be held in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com with Rev. David J. Nazimek officiating. Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
