Dean J. Santo Colombo

Dean J. Santo Colombo, 59, of Washington, died peacefully on Thursday, July 7, 2022 with his daughter and his two sisters at his side. Born in Mt. Pleasant on October 18, 1962, he was the son of Nunzio Santo Colombo of Elco and the late Wanda (Smart) Santo Colombo.

Dean was a truck driver for 17 years for Old Dominion Freight and was a member of Meadowlands United Methodist Church. He loved playing with his grandson and enjoyed shooting his guns, driving his truck and listening to music. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Ann (Sitar) Santo Colombo; daughter, LeaAnn Santo Colombo (fianc Zachary Pantely) of Houston, PA; grandson, Grayson Pantely; brother, Nunzio Santo Colombo III of Latrobe; sisters, Tami Prah of Banning and Christine Goguen of Alberta Canada; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Funeral Service, with Military Honors, will be held on Tuesday at 8 p.m. with Pastor Steve McGowen officiating.
