Frank Farquhar, 93, of Belle Vernon died Saturday, February 25, 2017 in Country Care Manor. Born in Fayette City on October 2, 1923, he was the son of the late Allen and Mary (Earnest) Farquhar.
Frank was a brakeman for Monessen Southwestern Railroad and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his daughters, Susan F. (Durwood) Glotfelty of Smithton and Claudia J. (Donald) Everley of Star Junction; 3 granddaughters; 5 great grandchildren; and sister, Mary Yates of Belle Vernon.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lavonne Farquhar; and numerous brothers and sisters.
There will be no public visitation and Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
