George Roger Tobias

George Roger Tobias, 81, of Rostraver Township, died Thursday, December 18, 2025. Born in Brownsville on June 13, 1944, he was the son of the late George and Olive Tobias. 

George was an Industrial Arts teacher in the McKeesport School District and retired in the early 2000's. He enjoyed walking in the mornings at the Mon Valley Healthplex. He loved spending time with his family and especially enjoyed watching and cheering for his granddaughters when they competed in their swim meets. He honorably served his country in the U S Army.

He is survived by daughter, Kelly (Brian) Yurkovich of Elizabeth; granddaughters, Hailey Yurkovich and Brooke Yurkovich; and his brother, John (Paula) Tobias of New Jersey. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene (Delmastro) Tobias.

Friends will be received on Monday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the James C.
