Gloria Calcagni

Gloria M. Calcagni, 92, of West Newton died Sunday, February 10, 2019 in TLC Adult Care Center. Born in Rostraver Township on August 13, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Julie (Vertacnik) Maleski.
Gloria was a member of Holy Family Church West Newton, where she was active in the Confraternity of Christian Mothers.
She is survived by he sons, Amel (Sandra) Calcagni Jr. of Smithton and Ralph (Patty) Calcagni of Ruffs Dale; daughter, Janine (Pete) Laird of Collinsburg; grandchildren, Billy, Melissa, Brandon and Ryan; and great grandchildren, Izabella, Anastazia and Gianna.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Amel E. Calcagni; grandson, Petey Laird; and brothers, Melvin and Stanley Maleski.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Church with Rev. James F. Bump as celebrant. Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.
