Jamie M. Garbart

Jamie M. Garbart, 65, of Van Meter, died Wednesday, May 21, 2025. Born in Baltimore, Maryland on May 23, 1959, she was the daughter of the late James Pauline and Dorothy (Vindivich) Pauline Evans.

Jamie worked at Cedarbrook Golf Course for 20 years. She especially enjoyed making crafts with her cousin, Debbie, and she was a huge Pittsburgh Steeler fan. Jamie had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need. She had a special love for her dogs, Sculley and Lucy.

She is survived by her husband, Patrick J. Garbart; daughter & son-in-law,Teresa and Michael Kolossa of Van Meter; and sister, Mary Dot Evans.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Mitchell Pauline.

At Jamie's request, the family will have a celebration of her life at a later date.
