Jane Sarah Martin

Jane Sarah Martin, 95, of Perryopolis, formerly of Belle Vernon, passed away, Thursday, June 29, 2023 surrounded by family. Born on September 23, 1927, she was the daughter of the late William D. and Sarah Jane (O'Donnell) Upperman.

A homemaker, Jane loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Ken) Dingler of Perryopolis; grandchildren, Karen Ann (Earl Crosby) Wiles of Belle Vernon and Briana Lynn Dingler of Perryopolis; great-grandchildren, Isaac Crosby and Nina Crosby; brother, Harry (Dorothy) Upperman of Greensburg; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carl A. Martin; and siblings, Helen Painter, Margaret Cooper, Anna May Dunn, Ted, Charles, James and William Upperman.

Friends will be received on Wednesday July 5 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday July 6 at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park.
