Jean D. Zelenko

Jean D. Zelenko, 91, of Rostraver Township died Monday, March 5, 2018 in her home. Born in Monongahela on December 30, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Stanko) Malena.
Jean worked as a bank teller at the former Union National Bank in West Newton. She was an active member of the Church of St. Anne, where she was a greeter and a member of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers.
She is survived by her sons, Richard (Roberta) Zelenko of Glen Allen, VA and David (Lori) Zelenko of Venetia, PA; daughters, Ilona (Bill) Stack and Karen Muirhead both of Rostraver Township; grandchildren, Sarah (Daniel) Astrop, Malena Zelenko, Macie Zelenko, Carrie (Jason) Morrow, Amanda (Josh) Swearer, Jennifer Muirhead and Jason (Shelly) Muirhead; great grandchildren, Eleanor Jean Astrop, Brady McFeeley, Skyler Muirhead, Jordan Muirhead, Jason Morrow Jr., Evan Morrow and Riley Swearer; and great great grandchild, Dia McFeeley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pete R. Zelenko; and grandson, Ryan Stapleton.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Blessing Service will be held on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Anne, Rostraver Township with Rev. Vincent J. Gigliotti as celebrant. Interment will follow in Fells Cemetery.
