Joanna Bush

Joanna Bush, 87, of Donora, died Friday, December 26, 2025. Born in Monongahela on May 30, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Roman) Guydan. 

Joanna was a wonderful , loving and kind wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Donora and served as Financial Secretary for over 30 years. She worshipped Jesus by singing in the choir and volunteering with Bible School. She was a wonderful cook, enjoyed cooking for her family, and also liked dining out. She enjoyed traveling with her family, most recently to Niagara Falls., but she especially loved spending time with her grandkids.

She is survived by husband of 59 years, William Bush; daughters, Bethanne (Al) Stricker of Venetia and Deanna Bush of Donora; grandchildren, Katelyn (Samuel) Risley, Eric Stricker and Alexis Stricker; great-grandchild, Ella Risley (and a great-grandchild on the way); sister, Elaine (Jim) Chapman of Dormont. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Christine (Bozic) Guydan.
