John Michael Hreno, 74, of Belle Vernon, died Saturday, October 23, 2021. Born in Webster on September 20, 1947, he was the son of the late John and Anna (Zolock) Hreno.
John was a retired union pipe fitter and had worked at Babcock & Wilcox, Frank Parker Company and Bergen Power Pipe Supports Inc. He was a member of St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church in Donora and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved music, especially Elvis Presley. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam.
He is survived by his children, Jeffrey Hreno of Charleroi and Lori Ann (Omar) Roman of Irving, TX; grandchild, Alaric Roman; sisters, Anna Jenkins of Monroeville, Elizabeth Hreno of North Fort Myers, FL, Cathy Culp of Confluence and Janet Fagan of North Fort Myers, FL; fiance`, Marlene (Gray) Black and her family of Charleroi.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11a.m. with Rev. Stephen J. Wahal officiating. Interment, with Full Military Honors, will follow in Fells Cemetery.
