Joseph J. Duda

Joseph J. Duda, 76, of Mount Morris, died Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at the family homestead in Rostraver Township. Born in Charleroi on June 14, 1950, he was the son of the late Chester and Margaret (Marconyak) Duda.

Joe worked in construction and was a member of Local 1058. A member of St. Anne's Parish, Joe enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and spending time outdoors.

He is survived by his siblings, Julie (Robert) Malena, Chester Duda, Jr., Margaret (Robert) Scharback, Michael Duda and Cathy (Borhanullah) Karimi; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann (Sweeney) Duda in 2022.

Friends will be received on Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 12 PM to 4 PM at the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Funeral Service will be held at 4 PM.
