Julia H. Traczynski

Julia H. Traczynski, 86, of McKeesport, died peacefully at home on Friday, January 9, 2026. Born in McKeesport on March 4, 1939, she was the daughter of the late William and Julia (Gibbons) Hickey.

 A homemaker, Julia and her late husband, John, owned and operated Traczynski's Market in McKeesport. Through the years, Julia also worked at Volkswagen and Kennywood . 

She is survived by her children, Monica (Alan) Atkins of Spring, TX, John (Tammy) Traczynski III of Monessen, William (Lisa) Traczynski of Irwin and Edward Traczynski of McKeesport; grandchildren, Sarah (Tim) Reynolds,Gordon Anderson, Kaitlyn (Anu) Chahar, Laura Traczynski, Joshua (Haley) Traczynski, Bailey (Thomas) Katonka, Matthew Traczynski and Jacob Traczynski ; great-grandchildren, Everly Reynolds, Azalea Traczynski, Aurora Traczynski, Nolan Reynolds and Eleanor Chahar ; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Traczynski Jr.; as well as 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

A Memorial Service and Interment in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies will be held at a later date.
