Kathy (Conrad) Rosnick, age 65, of Belle Vernon, Pennyslvania passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 6, 2016, at Family Hospice & Palliative Care in Mt. Lebanon.
She was born on January 19, 1951 in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania, the only child of James F. and Leah M. Conrad of West Newton, Pennsylvania.
Kathy graduated from West Virginia University, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, in 1971 with a degree in mathematics and earned her masters degree in secondary education from the University of Pittsburgh in 1976. She went on to teach advanced placement calculus at Mt. Lebanon High School for 30 years.
Kathy was a member of the D.A.R. (Daughters of the American Revolution) and enjoyed music, including playing the piano and organ, gardening, and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband of 41 years, William A. Rosnick, one daughter, Leeann R. Morentz, and a son-in-law, Andrew M. Morentz.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C.
