Margaret S. "Peggy" Wyder

Margaret S. "Peggy" Wyder, 92, formerly of Perryopolis, died Thursday, November 13, 2025. Born in Bentleyville on October 16, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Paul V. and Bertha (Boehme) Schmidt.

Peggy was a 1951 graduate of Donora High School. She formerly worked at U S Steel in Donora and Bishop Egan High School in Levittown. She was an avid movie buff of the Classic Movies. Most of all, Peggy loved being surrounded by her extended family.

She is survived by her children, Edward (Geraldine) Wyder, Michael (Tina) Wyder, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Miller and Paula Trozzo; 11 Grandchildren ; 29 great grandchildren ; and 1 great-great grandchild; sisters, Kathy Thorsen, Judy Hartman and Sally Williams; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Edward W. Wyder Sr. and her longtime companion, Coleman Tomasiak. 

At Peggy's request, private services were held.
