Marilyn (Milsom) Williams, 86, a Rostraver Township resident, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. She was born on February 14, 1940 in North Charleroi to the late Carl and Doris (Cook) Milsom.
Marilyn was self-employed as owner of Marilyn Williams Advertising Specialties and was formally employed from 1958 until 1980 at Milsom's, her father's business in Monessen PA.
She was a 1958 graduate of Rostraver High School, and was organizer and chairperson of the class reunions of her graduating class. Marilyn was a member of the First Christian Church of Fayette City and was treasurer and board member for 43 years.
She enjoyed traveling--especially cruising--and sports--mainly football. She was a former member of the Pitt Golden Panthers and a board member of the Mon Valley Chapter for many years. Along with her husband, Don, they received the Golden Panther of the Year Award in 1986.
Marilyn loved animals, having had numerous cats and dogs throughout her life.
Preceded in death besides her parents was her husband of 49 years, Don, who passed away on November 26, 2007; her companion, Gerald Daumit, who passed away on January 24, 2014; and her sister, Jean (Milsom) Bane, who passed away on August 3, 1998.S
Survivors include 2 nieces, Colleen (Bane) Buchanan and Patricia (Bane) Bish and husband, Tim Bish, all of North Charleroi; 2 nephews, Kevin Williams and wife, Sue of Doylestown, PA and Dana Williams of Newtown, PA; great nieces and great nephews, Katie (Buchanan) and David Whalen, Carl and Jacquelyne Buchanan, Ken and Jen Buchanan, Shandra (Bish) and Brandon Vadella, Shaunden and Krissy Bish, Shanae (Bish) and Jordan Urwin, Heather (Williams) Moody; and numerous great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
Friends will be received on Monday, October 5, 2026 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Wayne Boring officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
Donations in Marilyn's memory may be made to the MV PAWS, Rostraver/West Newton Emergency Service (ambulance service), Rostraver Public Library or to the charity of one's choice.
