Muriel J. Sellman

Muriel J. Sellman, 89, of Perryopolis (Perry Twp.), died Friday, January 5, 2018 in Country Care Manor. Born in Belle Vernon on December 15, 1928, she was the daughter of the late James and Gladys (Carrier) Jones.
Muriel was a telephone operator, working for Bell Telephone Company and later Verizon. She was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church, the Order of Eastern Star, and the Pioneers of Bell Telephone.
She is survived by her husband, Perry G. Sellman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jim Jones and Dan Jones.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Funeral service will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Ken Sommerfeldt officiating. Interment will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery.
