With heavy hearts and joyful memories, we gather to celebrate the remarkable life of Phillip "Phil" Walter Kalcevic, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, and uncle, who passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025. Phil, a cherished resident of Rostraver Township, PA, was born on October 18, 1942 in Clairton, Pennsylvania.

A proud veteran of the United States Army, Phil served with honor during the Cuban Missile Crisis, showcasing his dedication to his country and community. He worked at IBM, S.B.S (Satellite Business Systems), and the local public libraries.

Phil was born to the late Michael and Mary Kalcevic, and his memory lives on through his loving family. He is survived by his children: Christian Kalcevic (Nikki) of San Antonio, TX; Alexis A. Repass (William) of Rostraver Township; Joshua Kalcevic (Angela) of Donora, PA; Thea Kalcevic (Logan) of Carnegie, PA; and Nick Kalcevic (Cortney) of Seward, PA. He was also the proud grandfather of Jocelyn, Trevor, Preston,Jaxson, Bexley, Cynthea, Kelcey, Demetrius, Talan, Christian, Rowan, Linden, and Henry.

Phil was united in marriage to his late wife, Cynthia Ann Kalcevic, with whom he shared 44 beautiful years. They met in Rochester, MN, and together built a loving home filled with cherished memories. Phil deeply loved his family, and his passion for life was evident in the way he celebrated every milestone.

Phil was one of the most knowledgeable souls you would ever meet. He had an insatiable love for Old Time Radio, the Catholic Channel, TV, books, history, and could always be seen wearing his beloved MAGA hat. His joy for couponing and daily ritual of enjoying Dunkin Donuts coffee brought a sparkle to his eye.

Phil is remembered by his surviving brother, Terrence "Skitch" Kalcevic (Linda), and proceeded in death by brothers David Kalcevic (Patricia), Walter Kalcevic (Rose Mary), and Lawrence "Larry" Kalcevic (the late Ingrid). He leaves behind many nephews and nieces who will carry his light forward.

Though we are heartbroken by his passing, we take comfort in knowing that he is now celebrating life alongside his beloved wife Cindy and other family members. Phil's spirit will forever remain with us, guiding us as our guardian angel.

We want to thank the VA hospice at H J Heinz Campus and staff for the wonderful care our father received these past 6 months. We are truly grateful for all the wonderful conversations and relationships he developed during his time at the VA.

Let us honor Phil's legacy by sharing stories, prayer, laughter, and love, just as he would have wanted.
