Samye K. Pinter

Samye K. Pinter, 76, of Rostraver Township, died Friday, November 21, 2025. Born in Aliquippa on May 10, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Thomas R. and Nadine A. (Freeman) Mohlman. 

Samye loved reading and crocheting and spending time at their camp at Big Bear Lake in West Virginia. She was a kind and caring person and made friends easily. Samye knew the importance of family and showed it with her unconditional love and support.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Pinter; daughter, Sharmaine (Daniel) Burns; grandchildren, Dylan Rupert, Joseph (Rebecca) Burns and Michael (Kristen) Burns; great-grandchildren, Willa Rupert, Olivia Burns, Jayson Burns, Hunter Burns, Beau Burns and Hudson Burns; sister, Jacqueline Mohlman; nieces and nephew, Kelly Moore, Star Allison, Jeff List, Sherry Swauger, Sheila Haut and Beverly Jones; as well as numerous cousins, great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-son, Bradly Pinter and sister, Carrie List.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) http://www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at 1 p.m. with Lay Pastor Daniel Burns officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Cemetery in Pleasant Hills.
