Stella Assad, 89, of Rostraver Township, died Sunday, March 27, 2016 in Lafayette Manor. Born in Charleroi on April 12, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Freda (Haggerty) Van Kirk.
Stella was a cook for the Belle Vernon Area School District.
She is survived by her son, Bill; daughters, Sharyn and Barbara; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Thelma Fell.
