Susan Davenport

Susan M. ''Susie'' Davenport, 56, of Greensburg, passed away suddenly after a long-term illness on Friday, July 22, 2016 in Westmoreland Regional Hospital. Born in McKeesport on November 23, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Gerald H. and Doris B. (Denney) Goulette.
Susie was a Nursing Assistant at Mt. Vernon Health Care in Elizabeth Twp. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and loved her two little companions, Riley and Kendall. Susie was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and served as a Military Police Office in the U S Army from 1978 to 1983.
She is survived by her son, Lewis O. Davenport of Greensburg; daughters, Quanda M. Davenport of Clairton, Monica E. Davenport of Greensburg and Christina L. Davenport of East Pittsburgh; grandson, Isiah Booker; sisters, Patricia Goulette and Shirley Goulette, both of Jefferson Hills.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Blessing service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Vincent J. Gigliotti officiating. Interment, with full military honors, will be in Jefferson Memorial Park.
