Thomas Korhnak

Thomas A. Korhnak, 38, of Pittsburgh, passed away at his home on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. He was born in Pittsburgh on September 15, 1986.

Tom was a devoted husband to his wife of 11 years, Carrie and a deeply loving father to his two beautiful children, Max and Mia.

Tom was an 11 year Journeyman and member of The Steamfitters Union No. 449. He was the beloved head coach for his son's youth soccer team and was a dedicated member of the BWSA Soccer Community. Tom was also the ultimate "Girl Dad" to his daughter, never missing any of her cheer and gymnastics events.

Tom enjoyed taking trips to Erie PA with his family and vacationing at the beach. He was well known for his kindness, generosity and unconditional love and was best known for his "Legendary Dad Jokes".

He is survived by his loving wife, Carrie J. (Quinto) Korhnak; beloved children, Maxwell and Mia Korhnak; mother, Marian (Funk) Korhnak; siblings, John Korhnak, Brett Korhnak, Michael (Sarah) Korhnak, Marianne Korhnak (James Gorski), Daniel (Phoebe) Korhnak, Robert Korhnak, Megan Korhnak and James Korhnak (Danielle Dip); sister-in-law; LauraLee (Michael) Crawford; and 13 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Korhnak.
