William E. Fedorka

William E. Fedorka, 86, of Rostraver Township, died Thursday, March 12, 2026. Born in McKeesport on September 28, 1939, he was the son of the late William R. and Thelma F. (Neuman) Fedorka. 

William was the founder and owner of Fedorka Sod Farm, the only Sod Farm in Southwestern Pennsylvania, from 1960 until 2000. His job was his life and he loved working his farm and his business. William always encouraged supporting the local farmers and buying local! He was a member of the Elizabeth Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughters, Heather (Robb) Jenkins of Rostraver and Holly Braun (Brad Kinder) of Rostraver ; grandchildren, Hannah Braun, Jacob Braun, Jared Braun and Madeline Jenkins ; sister, June Fedorka ; sisters-in-law, Jain (Larry) Sillaman and Brenda (Glen) Fasekas; as well as numerous nephews and a niece . 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Sharon L. (Sillaman) Fedorka; son-in-law, Jeffrey F. Braun; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Gezella Fedorka.

Private visitation and Funeral Services were held at the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) https://www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com Interment was in West Newton Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Elizabeth Baptist Church, 735 Bunola River Road, Elizabeth, PA 15037
